COVID Update: All Auto Glass Services Suspended

Update: We have resumed all services and are booking appointments. Please call us regarding any of your auto glass repair needs.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to inform all customers that we are no longer taking on any new auto glass appointments. We will try to provide customers with some helpful tips to get by.

Our mobile service usually requires us to travel back and forth across the GTA. On any given day, we meet with a handful of people from various industries. To repair or replace any automotive glass also means getting into many different vehicles on a daily basis. We have always taken a safe and sanitary approach while working on everybody’s vehicles.

Taking these facts into account, this makes us perfect candidates for spreading the virus. We are taking a stance to be pro-active about reducing the spread. We will be self-isolating and practicing social distancing to the best of our ability. Stay safe. Stay smart.

We are still answering our phone lines and will be available to give you estimates or any auto glass advice. We understand that there are some emergency situations such as broken door windows, broken back windows, or even badly cracked windshields. If you have any questions about what you can do for now, we will be happy to answer them for you.

Some Helpful Auto Glass Tips

  • Broken Door Windows – If you find yourself in a situation where your door window is broken, it is possible to fashion a temporary cover. It isn’t a perfect solution, but it can provide some shelter from wind, rain, and snow. Please visit this page to see an example of how to fashion a temporary door window.
  • Cracked Windshields – Windshields are built to withstand a lot of damage. They are built as “safety glass”. This means it can become very badly broken and will remain intact. A windshield that is broken will just continue breaking more but will stay in one piece.
  • Broken Back Windows – This is probably the worst auto glass scenario to be in. It is impossible to drive your car safely if you don’t have a back window to see out of. Do your best to clean up as much of the broken glass as possible. When we replace a broken back window, we begin by breaking all of the remaining glass and vacuuming it.
