As the colder months start to set in, our ability to provide mobile windshield replacement becomes more difficult. Our biggest hurdle to overcome is rain and snow. The only problem that actually gets in the way of a proper installation is not having a dry surface to apply our urethane adhesive.
We ask for your understanding and patience in waiting to get your windshield replaced on a day that is weather permitting. We always do our best to provide you with quick and convenient service. For days that are extra cold, we may ask to book you on a day that is forecasted to be warmer.
Preparing For A Visit From Top Auto Glass During Winter
In order to replace your windshield during the winter, we ask you clear all the snow off your vehicle prior to our visit. If you have a garage, please keep the vehicle indoors overnight.
If your vehicle is covered in snow, we will not be able to replace the windshield on it. We try to see as many people as possible in a single day and have scheduled each appointment based on the time it will take us to complete other appointments. Clearing the snow off your vehicle to prepare it for a windshield replacement can take longer than the actual work we have to do.
Indoor Windshield Replacement At One Of Our Friendly Shops
Although our auto glass repair service is completely mobile in Toronto, we may ask you to bring your vehicle to one of these shops. We have worked out arrangements with local mechanics and auto shops. They will allow us to use their shop space so that you can have your windshield replaced with confidence.
Bringing your car to a shop does not cost you extra.
We are happy to work out a deal with local mechanics to bring your vehicle into their shops. We encourage you to ask them about their services as we will only bring your vehicle into a shop that has proven to us that they care about their customers just as much as we do.
